PXP Latex Rocker Nose Instructions for Use

The PXP Latex Winking Nose is a high quality detailed rubber nose prosthesis designed for reuse when used correctly. This prosthesis is ideal for theater, carnival, film and television.

Preparation:

1. Check fit: Take the latex prosthesis out of the box and place it on the skin to see if the edges fit well and where the prosthesis will be glued on later.
2. Preparing the prosthesis: Lightly color the parts to be skin-colored (except the edges) red to suggest natural blood flow. To do this, use Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge and apply with a makeup sponge or powder/rub brush.
3. Colors:
   • For skin tones: Apply Grimas Camouflage Makeup Pure with a sponge, directly from the stick or with a spatula.
   • For bright colors: use Grimas Cream Makeup Pure, but avoid this product for skin tones.
4. Maintain shape: Put a tuft of cotton wool in the nose to maintain shape and trap perspiration.

Aanbrengen:

1. Applying glue: Apply Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the adhesive edge and let it dry for 15 seconds.
2. Placing the prosthesis: Place the prosthesis back on the skin and use a pointed comb to properly position and adhere the edges. Press the edges firmly with a tissue.
3. Evening edges: Apply a dash of eyelash glue to a sponge and dab it over the transition from the latex prosthesis to the skin. Let it dry with a hair dryer until transparent. Repeat until an even transition is obtained.
4. Tinting and powdering: Color the transition edges with the makeup used and powder with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder. Remove excess powder.

Verwijderen:

1. Loosen prosthesis: Loosen the adhesive edge with a cotton swab soaked in Grimas Mastix Remover. Remove adhesive and makeup residue with Mastix Remover.
2. Skin cleansing: Massage the skin with Grimas Multi Remover or Cleansing Cream and wipe off with a tissue. Cleanse the skin after with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
3. Prothesis Cleaning: Clean the latex prosthesis with soap and water. After drying (possibly with a hair dryer) powder with Grimas Transparent Powder. Store the prosthesis in the dark.
