This PXP Latex long wound is a realistic looking prosthesis with fine details. PXP Professional Colours Latex prosthetics are high quality and can be reused multiple times if used correctly.

This latex wound application is ideal for use in theater, carnival, film and television.

Werkwijze:

1. Take the latex prosthesis out of the box and place it on the skin to see if the edges fit properly and to determine where the wound will be glued.
2. For a naturally flushed skin tone, apply a red Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge with a makeup sponge or powder/rub brush to all skin tone areas except the edges. Then cover with Grimas Camouflage Makeup Pure in the desired skin tone, directly from the stick or spatula with a sponge.
3. For bright colors use Grimas Crème Make-up Pure. For skin tones use Grimas Camouflage Make-up Pure.
4. Place a tuft of cotton wool inside the wound to maintain its shape and trap perspiration.
5. Apply Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the scales/adhesive edge and let it dry for 15 seconds. Then place the latex prosthesis back on the skin.
6. Use a pointed comb to hold the scaly edges firmly in place and stick straight. Press the edges firmly with a tissue.
7. For a seamless transition between the latex prosthesis and the skin, apply eyelash glue to a sponge and dab it over the transition. Let it dry with a hair dryer until transparent. Repeat until a nice, even transition is obtained.
8. Color the transition edges with the color used and powder with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder. Remove excess powder.

Verwijderen:

1. Loosen the adhesive edge with a cotton swab soaked in Grimas Mastix Remover. Remove adhesive and makeup residue from the latex prosthesis with Mastix Remover.
2. Massage the skin with Grimas Multi Remover or Cleansing Cream and wipe off with a tissue. Cleanse the skin after with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
3. Clean the latex prosthesis with soap and water. Dry the prosthesis (possibly with a hair dryer) and powder with Grimas Transparent Powder. Store in the dark.
