PXP Latex Clown Nose: Instructions for Use

The PXP Latex Clown Nose is a high-quality rubber nose with beautiful details, designed for theater, carnival, film and television. When used correctly, the nose can be used multiple times.

Procedure:

1. Voorbereiding:

   • Take the latex prosthesis out of the box and place it on the skin to check for a good fit and where it will be glued later.
   • Slightly pre-color parts that have a skin tone (except the edges) with red to suggest naturally bloodshot skin. To do this, use a red Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge and apply with a makeup sponge or powder/rub brush.
   • Then apply Grimas Camouflage Makeup Pure in the desired skin tone opaque with a sponge, directly from the stick or with a spatula.
   • For bright colors, use Grimas Crème Make-up Pure. For skin tones, do not use Cream Makeup Pure, but Grimas Camouflage Makeup Pure.
   • Place a tuft of cotton wool in the nose to keep it in shape and trap perspiration.

2. Aanbrengen:

   • Apply some Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the scales/paste border and let it dry for a few seconds.
   • Let the glue dry for 15 seconds and place the latex prosthesis back on the skin.
   • Use a pointed comb to hold the scaled edges firmly in place and stick straight. Press the edges firmly with a tissue.

3. Egaliseren:

   • To obtain a nice transition between the latex prosthesis and the skin, apply a dash of eyelash glue to the edge of a sponge and dab it over the transition from the latex prosthesis to the skin.
   • Let it dry with a hair dryer until the result is transparent. Repeat this operation until a nice even transition is obtained.
   • Color the transition edges with the color used and powder with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder. Remove the excess powder.

Verwijderen:

1. Loosen the adhesive edge with a cotton swab soaked in Grimas Mastix Remover.
2. Remove adhesive and makeup residue from the latex prosthesis with Mastix Remover.
3. Massage the skin with Grimas Multi Remover or Cleansing Cream and wipe off with a tissue.
4. Clean the skin after with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.

Care of the Latex Prosthesis:

1. Clean the latex prosthesis with soap and water.
2. Let it dry (possibly with a hair dryer) and powder it with Grimas Transparent Powder.
3. Store the prosthesis in the dark.
