    Grimas Latex Prosthetics

    Description:
Grimas Latex Prosthetics are high-quality rubber noses, snouts, horns, ears, and chins. They are used in theater, film, television, and carnival. When used properly, the latex prosthetics can be reused multiple times.

    Features:

    • Material: latex
    • Reusable with proper care
    • Suitable for: theater, film, television, carnival
    • Various shapes: noses, snouts, horns, ears, chins

    Use and Application

    1. Preparation:
      • Remove the latex prosthetic from the box and place it on the skin to check that the edges fit snugly.
      • Determine where the prosthetic will be glued.
    2. Skin preparation:
      • Lightly color the skin tones (except for the edges) with red to suggest natural blood flow.
      • Use Grimas Special Effects Powder 504 or a red Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge with a makeup sponge or powder brush.
      • Then apply the desired Crème Make-up Pure or Camouflage Make-up Pure, either directly from the stick or with a spatula.
      • For bright colors: use Grimas Crème Make-up Pure.
    3. Shape and securing:
      • Place a small wadding of cotton in the nose to maintain its shape and absorb perspiration.
      • Apply Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the adhesive edges and let it dry for 15 seconds.
      • Place the prosthesis back on the skin and press the edges firmly with a tissue.
      • Use a fine-toothed comb to precisely position the scaled edges.
    4. Smoothing the Edges:
      • Apply a thin line of eyelash glue to a sponge and dab it over the transition from the prosthesis to the skin.
      • Dry with a hair dryer until transparent. Repeat if necessary.
      • Blend the transition edges with the makeup you used.
      • Set the entire area with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder and remove any excess powder.

    Removal and Cleaning

    1. Removal:
      • Loosen the adhesive edges with a cotton swab dipped in Grimas Mastix Remover.
      • Remove any remaining adhesive and makeup with Mastix Remover.
      • Massage Grimas Multi Remover Pure or Cleansing Cream into the skin and wipe off with a tissue.
      • Follow up by cleansing the skin with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
    2. Cleaning the prosthetic:
      • Wash the latex prosthetic with soap and water.
      • Dry (using a hair dryer if necessary) and lightly dust with Grimas Transparent Powder.
      • Store in a dark place to prevent discoloration.
