Material: latex
Reusable with proper care
Suitable for: theater, film, television, carnival
Various shapes: noses, snouts, horns, ears, chins
Use and Application
Preparation:
Remove the latex prosthetic from the box and place it on the skin to check that the edges fit snugly.
Determine where the prosthetic will be glued.
Skin preparation:
Lightly color the skin tones (except for the edges) with red to suggest natural blood flow.
Use Grimas Special Effects Powder 504 or a red Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge with a makeup sponge or powder brush.
Then apply the desired Crème Make-up Pure or Camouflage Make-up Pure, either directly from the stick or with a spatula.
For bright colors: use Grimas Pure Cream Makeup.
Shape and securing:
Place a small wad of cotton in the nose to maintain its shape and absorb sweat.
Apply Grimas Mastix Extra to the inner edges of the adhesive edges and let it dry for 15 seconds.
Place the prosthesis back on the skin and press the edges firmly with a tissue.
Use a fine-toothed comb to precisely position the scalloped edges.
Smoothing the Edges:
Apply a thin line of eyelash glue to a sponge and dab it over the transition from the prosthesis to the skin.
Dry with a hair dryer until transparent. Repeat if necessary.
Blend the transition edges using the same makeup.
Set the entire area with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder and remove any excess powder.
Removal and Cleaning
Removal:
Loosen the adhesive edges with a cotton swab dipped in Grimas Mastix Remover.
Remove any remaining adhesive and makeup with Mastix Remover.
Massage the skin with Grimas Multi Remover Pure or Cleansing Cream and wipe off with a tissue.
Follow up by cleansing the skin with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
Cleaning the prosthetic:
Wash the latex prosthetic with soap and water.
Dry (using a hair dryer if necessary) and lightly dust with Grimas Transparent Powder.
