Application instructions
- Preparation:
- Remove the latex prosthesis from the box and place it on the skin to check that the edges fit snugly.
- Determine where the prosthetic will be glued.
- Preparing the skin tone:
- Lightly apply red to areas that need to be skin-toned (except for the edges) to suggest a natural, flushed complexion.
- Use Grimas Special Effects Powder 504 or a red Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge with a sponge or powder brush.
- Then apply the desired shade of Crème Make-up Pure or Camouflage Make-up Pure, either directly from the stick or with a spatula.
- For bright colors: use Grimas Crème Make-up Pure.
- Shape and Fixation:
- Place a small wad of cotton in the nose to maintain its shape and absorb perspiration.
- Apply Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the scales or adhesive edges and let the adhesive dry for 15 seconds.
- Place the prosthesis back on the skin and press the edges firmly with a tissue.
- Use a fine-toothed comb to precisely position the scaly edges.
- Smooth the transition to the skin:
- Apply a thin line of eyelash glue to a sponge and dab it along the edges of the prosthesis toward the skin.
- Dry with a hair dryer until the result is transparent. Repeat until an even transition is achieved.
- Blend the transition edges with the makeup you used.
- Set the entire area with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder and remove any excess powder.
Removal and Cleaning
- Removal:
- Loosen the adhesive edges with a cotton swab dipped in Grimas Mastix Remover.
- Remove any remaining adhesive and makeup with Mastix Remover.

- Follow up by cleansing the skin with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
- Cleaning the prosthetic:
- Wash the latex prosthetic with soap and water.
- Dry it (using a hair dryer if necessary) and lightly dust it with Grimas Transparent Powder.
